Me and him wrapped around each other in front of a roaring fire.
Tucked away in his cottage with snow outside the windows.
Just me and him.
24 blissful hours.
We didn't speak to a soul.
We barely spoke to each other.
We kissed and we touched and we smiled.
It's the little things i remember the most.
Him kissing my ear lobes...
Me curling my fingers in his hair...
Him grazing his eye lashes across my cheek..
Me kissing his throat...
He said we'd be okay, aslong as we didn't fall.
It's funny how we think we can defy logic sometimes.
This year...this year it's just me.
Me and Great Expectations.
I'm happy i had that. I'm happy i have this.
I'm promising myself that i'll honour all of my ambitions.
Every single one of them.
This year. Next year. Every year.
No resolutions and no celebrations.
I have everything i need right here...and everything i want will come with time.
