Anxiety Attacks
I don't care what the weather's like.
I don't care whether i'm rich or poor.
I don't care if i'm alone.
Most of all i don't care what i look like.
I just want the peace and quiet.
I just want everything that's become important, that really never should have, to melt away.
I remember lying in the river one summer...letting my legs drift with the current...anchoring myself with my elbows in the pebbles...my head thrown back...sun on my face...birdsong in my ears.
I wasn't worrying. I wasn't hurt.
I wasn't whole...but i wasn't unhappy.
What happened to those summers and how do i go back?
