Fleeting
Either the light in my room is crazy, or cameras truly hate me. So i kind of hate cameras back right now.
There's only one word for what colour they make me appear...and that's white.
How the frick can i always look paler than my Ma when i'm the one that's mixed raced?!

I had a sad thought earlier, and even though it feels kind of stupid to be voicing it, at the same time it doesn't feel that stupid at all.
I'm never going to have a picture of my parents together with me.
I'm never going to be able to stare at a photo of three faces, with mine in the middle, and compare the likenesses - laugh at characteristics i've inherited and sigh with relief at the ones i haven't.
And it's such a small thing really, seemingly irrelevant, but for some reason it gets to me.
It is getting to me. And i rather wish i hadn't had the thought at all.
